About TVDuel

Stop overpaying for screen size.

The Problem

TV shopping is broken. Manufacturers push endless specs, review sites drown you in technical details, and price tracking across retailers is a nightmare. Worst of all? Most people overpay for screen size without realizing it.

We built TVDuel to fix this.

Our Approach: Price Per Inch

Screen size is the single most important factor in TV value. A 65" TV delivers 40% more viewing area than a 55"—but comparing sticker prices hides this completely.

Price per inch cuts through the noise. It tells you exactly what you're paying for each square inch of screen. Lower is better. Simple.

Real Example
TV A: 55" at $800 = $14.55/inch
TV B: 65" at $1,000 = $15.38/inch

TV B costs $200 more upfront but offers better value per inch—and a dramatically better viewing experience.

What We Track

We compare 91 TVs across 7 major brands, focusing on specs that actually matter:

  • Panel Type: OLED, QLED, Mini-LED, LED-LCD—what works for your room?
  • HDR Brightness: Nits determine HDR impact. More nits = better contrast.
  • Refresh Rate: 120Hz+ for sports and gaming. 60Hz for casual viewing.
  • HDMI 2.1: Future-proofing for PS5, Xbox Series X, and next-gen content.
  • Input Lag: Critical for gaming. Under 10ms is competitive.

No fluff. No paid placements. Just data.

How We Make Money

TVDuel is free to use. If you click through and buy a TV, we may earn a commission from retailers at no extra cost to you.

This doesn't affect our rankings or recommendations. Our goal is simple: help you find the best value TV for your money.

Privacy

We don't track users, sell data, or run ads. No cookies. No analytics. Just a tool that works.
